Meet the Team

Dr. Tawanda Bostic

Dr. Bostic is a dually board certified Psychiatric and Family Nurse Practitioner with over 24 years in the healthcare industry. She has worked in inpatient, outpatient, and correctional settings and have treated some of the most complex behavioral health cases across the nation. From full-blown psychosis to simple depression, she never sees a challenge but rather an opportunity.

Erica Walker

Family Nurse Practitioner

Ms. Walker is a board- certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 18 years in the healthcare industry. She is passionate about providing quality, compassionate, and comprehensive healthcare to those in need. Ms. Walker has worked in acute and outpatient settings and through this, she has obtained clinical skills to implement the best evidenced-based treatment to her patients.

Monique Watson

Monique Watson

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Monique Watson is a board- certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who understands that the storms of mental illness can be perilous. She believes that her training in the field of psychiatry has made it possible to help those suffering from mental illness. Monique’s belief is that the field of medicine has a set of protocols that must be followed. In psychiatry, a patient’s care is tailored to their unique, individual needs and is determined by many different variables. This difference are what make psychiatry such an intriguing field.

Dr. Mary Sanford

ADHD Executive Function Coach

Mary Sanford is a progress-oriented ADHD Executive Function Coach with a wealth of experience successfully working with teens and adult clients. Her expertise and knowledge of ADHD and her excitement in helping clients improve their lives is highly rewarding to her. In her own words, Mary loves slaying the ADHD dragons of negativity and defeating behaviors that frequently torment her clients. In addition to serving as an Executive Function ADHD Coach, Mary leads ADHD and college success workshops. She is knowledgeable about the challenges of ADHD and neuro-diversity and uses that knowledge to capitalize on each person’s unique gifts. Clients describe her as empathetic, compassionate, enthusiastic, flexible, and resourceful.

Krystal Grimm

Krystal is the Office Manager of New Heights Behavioral Health. As the Office Manager, Krystal oversees medical service activities and personnel. Krystal has over fifteen years of direct patient care experience. She is a graduate of York Technical College where she received her certification as a Medical Assistant. She currently attends Southern New Hampshire University where she’s majoring in Psychology and learning advanced methods of human behavior, which aligns with her current role of office manager at NHBH.

Kaitlyn

Kaitlyn Benitez

Bilingual Office Assistant

Kaitlyn is New Heights Behavioral Health Bilingual Office Assistant. Kaitlyn not only assists with administrative and clinical duties of the practice, but she also assists Spanish-speaking patients with translation services to ensure they receive the healthcare they deserve. Kaitlyn currently attends Central Piedmont Community College and will soon be attending Southeastern College to pursue a degree in Sonography. Kaitlyn loves kids and works part-time as a daycare attendant. Outside of work, Kaitlyn enjoys going to the gym, shopping, and spending time with her family and dog.

Alexia White

Patient Advocate/Medical Scribe

Alexia works as a Patient Advocate/Medical Scribe at New Height’s Behavioral Health. Working at NHBH, Alexia has learned a lot about healthcare and the value of providing exceptional care to patients. Alexia feels that her work as a Patient Advocate/ Medical Scribe is laying the groundwork for her future as a doctor. She is committed to our patients and will stop at nothing to ensure that New Heights Behavioral Health remains a pioneer in enhancing health and establishing an excellent standard of care.

Maria Pascula

Administrative Assistant/Support Staff

Maria works as an Administrative Assistant/Support Staff at New Heights Behavioral Health. Maria holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and has worked in both the inpatient and outpatient sector. Maria also works as a transcriptionist and ESL tutor. Maria was raised in a small town in the Philippines and has a passion for discovering and learning new things.
