  • Wellbutrin
    Wellbutrin is an antidepressant and works as an appetite suppressant. It’s a norepinephrine and dopamine reuptake inhibitor and blocks transporters for norepinephrine and dopamine, which increases the amount of both chemicals in the brain. Wellbutrin helps with emotional eating and lack of energy.
  • Lipotropic M
    Lipotropic (lipo m) injections also called lipo injections, lipotropic MIC injections, or lipotropic B12 injections—are injections administered to increase fat metabolism and boost wellness. Lipo-M turns fats, carbohydrates, and sugars into energy and includes Vitamin B, all used to help facilitate weight loss. Lipo-M is a mixture of lipotropes, amino acids, and vitamins in an injection intended for weight loss. Lipotropes work to reduce fat production in the body.
  • Semaglutide
    Semaglutide belongs to a class of medications called glucagon-like peptide-1(GLP-1) receptor agonists and is used to manage diabetes. Semaglutide works by mimicking the effects of GLP-1, subsequently, decreasing blood sugar. These reactions also lead to delayed gastric emptying and send a signal to the brain that the stomach is full. For weight loss, Semaglutide reduces hunger and increases energy.
  • Topamax
    Topamax is a prescription medication approved for the treatment of epilepsy and migraine headaches but has also been used for weight loss. People taking this medication can lose between 15-20% of their baseline bodyweight with increased doses.
  • Is the cost of medication included in the plan?
    Medication will be obtained by your insurance plan. We use the most cost-effective medications to treat your condition. Even without insurance, some medications can be purchased for as little as $9/mth.

  • Who is our weight loss program for?
    Our supervised medical weight loss program is designed for those struggling to lose weight! If you have a BMI above 25, you’re a great candidate for our weight loss program! If you’ve been on that roller coaster of losing and gaining weight, we got you!
  • Do you accept commercial insurance?
    Yes. NHBH accepts most commercial insurances and some state health plans. We strive to make our services accessible and affordable to all. Wellness and aesthetic services are usually self-pay. We offer financing options for wellness, behavioral, and Aesthetic services. Some Aesthetic services may qualify for FSA (Flexible Spending Account) or HSA (Healthcare Savings Account).
  • Are the Providers at NHBH professional?
    Yes, all Providers at NHBH are licensed by their respective state boards and/or national certifying bodies. Each provider undergoes a rigorous hiring process, and their credentials are verified prior to their employment with New Heights Behavioral Health.
  • Who is New Heights Behavioral Health (NHBH)?

  • How do live video sessions work?
    Once you schedule an appointment, you will receive an email to set up your patient portal. On your designated appointment date and time, you click on the provided link to initiate the live video session.
  • Do you prescribe medication?
    Yes
  • Is a virtual behavioral health visit comparable to a face-to-face visit?
    We offer virtual and in-person visits, but virtual visits are just as effective as face-to-face visits in most cases. However, certain situations, such as severe acute psychosis and esthetic services require an in-person visit.
