Telehealth

What is Telehealth?
Telehealth is a branch of medicine that uses technology, which is typically video-based(computer, iPad, iPhone), to provide a range of healthcare services, such as psychiatric evaluations and diagnoses, individual , group, or family therapy, and medication management, to clients.

Why Telehealth?
According to the American Psychiatric Association, Telehealth is equivalent to in-person care in terms of the accuracy of diagnosis, the effectiveness of treatment, the quality of care, and client privacy and confidentiality.

Additionally, Telehealth is convenient and affordable. Avoid taking time off work for an appointment, which can cost you time and money. New Heights Behavioral Health offers convenient office hours from the comfort of your home.

What about quality?
Research has shown that telehealth services have not only found to be effective but more effective than an in-person visit.
